Cake Decorating Essentials

Basic tools to begin cake decorating, including icing, baking cakes, how to level, tort, fill and frost the cake.  Learn to pipe a variety of top, side and bottom borders. Other highlights include: decorate a character-shaped cake; figure pipe clowns: create a floral spray with flowers; writing in icing and more. 

Intermediate Cake Decorating

Build on the skills learned in the basic class.  Some exciting highlights include; basket weave technique; combining a variety of piping strokes to creat new lavish borders and scrolls, piping gel transfers.Airbrushing with various colors to make 3 dimensional images.

Advanced Cake Decorating - Tiered Wedding & Party Cakes

Prior cake decorating classes are a must! This hands on class will focus on how to support, stack, tier and transport cakes.  You choose wedding or party cake with with a design of your choice.  Minimum of 2 tiers.

Candy Garden and Candy Making

Candy makes a wonderful party favor or holiday gift!  Learn to make beautiful solid and filled candies, clusters and dipped treats, along with cute pretzels and fun candy designs.  You'll learn simple recipes for your candy with several molds to use. 

Cookie, Fondant Cookie and Cookie Bouquet

Cookie basics, essentials, recipes, decorating ideas and other hints. Help make the dough, mix it, roll it, cut it out, bake it, and decorate it.

Cupcakes

Whether for a dinner party, school event, or bbq, delight your family and impress your friends with yummy cupcakes that are beautifully decorated.  Learn a variety of frosting techniques to make your cupcakes sensational.  Creat leaves, handmade flowers, hearts, butterflies, baskets, clowns, baby cakes, animals, etc.

Gingerbread Cottage Scene

Your cottage can be decorated for virtually any special occasion or holiday and is a natural for housewarming parties!  We conduct many workshops throughout the year where participants decorate their own assembled houses and are always amazed at the beautiful creations that result.
